Honest answer — sometimes yes. If you’re under AppleCare+ and the repair is covered, go to Apple. If you’re out of warranty and Apple’s quote is more than the device is worth, come to us. We’ll tell you which path makes economic sense.

Apple’s warranty on covered components stays intact for parts not touched. The component we repair / replace is not covered by Apple’s warranty afterwards (it wasn’t either if it had failed and you’d paid Apple). Standard for any third-party repair.
